Non-Member Charters:
If you
are a member of one of our Affiliate
Clubs, you're able to charter
like an Aventura member. Call us and make a reservation. We'll want
to call your club and check to verify your membership and skill
level there, but other than that, you only have
to do a Lab V Orientation to our club and a check out. Please make
sure you have enough time to get this done before your charter.
We'll be glad to take a reservation for half-days or whole
days on weekdays, or whole days on weekends, for the current month
and/or the next two months.

are not a member of an affiliate, we will still consider chartering

with a resume, and we'll get back to you, or give us a call at 949.493.9493.
Non-Member Charters
We would like to get to know you before you charter our
boats.
Here are a few things that have to be accomplished to help
us in this process.
1.
Resume
2. Written test
3. Private Basic Lesson (test on the water) $225 plus $75
for the boat = $300
4. Lab 5 (orientation to the club and harbor)
5. Navigation test is required for multiple day charters
6. 50% deposit to reserve a boat with valid credit card
This
will get you on a 30’ boat. Larger boats will require certification
on that size boat which will cost accordingly.
Charter
history with Aventura is required for boats 38’ and larger.
Please plan ahead, testing may require at least a week.
The
boats are not stocked with pots pans, sheets, towels, etc.
Please allow several weeks in advance to book your
charter.
We reserve the right to add a non-member surcharge.

Skippered
Charters:
Aventura does offer charters with a captain and (if
necessary) crew. These would typically be on boats from our fleet, 30' to 47' in
size. But regardless of the size of the boat, U.S. Coast Guard regulations limit
us to only 6 guests on each boat. We only offer charters for groups of, say,
20 or so when they are placed on multiple boats.
Please call the office well in advance to book these
charters, as we must line up an available skipper. The cost is the weekend full
day rate plus the skipper rate. These prices are
budgetary estimates only, and are not specific quotes, and include only the boat
and captain. We can discuss a specific price when you call to make arrangements.
Aventura does not provide catering for skippered charters.
However, we can recommend several local caterers for you to contact.
